Our Philosophy 🌿🌙

As a certified Eifel National Park Host, we feel deeply connected to this unique landscape and our home region. We want you to arrive, take a deep breath and experience nature with all your senses – authentic, unspoilt and right in the middle of it.

As a certified Eifel National Park Host, we regularly take part in training focused on the special features of the National Park and our region. Our connection to nature and our local area isn't just something we talk about – it's part of everyday life at Camp-Hammer.

Taking a closer look / acting consciously 🌱

We also work with Viabono. Every two years, key figures for our operation covering energy / CO₂ / water / residual waste are assessed using supporting documentation and compared with those of similar businesses.

This helps us see where we stand and where we can continue to improve.

Because sometimes it's the big decisions – and sometimes the many little things – that make a difference.

Camping means nature. And nature is something we truly love and live at Camp-Hammer. 🌿

One thing especially close to our hearts is the natural night sky. That's why we changed our outdoor lighting back in 2016: amber-coloured / downward-facing / night-sky friendly. At night, we deliberately switch off most of our lights.

👉 Little tip: bring a torch.

Because when the lights go out down here, sometimes the best show begins up above. 🌌
