Sanitary facilities
Sanitary area number 1
Our 180 square meter, modern main sanitary facility, equipped with underfloor heating, has five washbasins (hot water and socket), three showers and a comfort shower for men and women. Hairdryers and relaxing music complete the feel-good atmosphere.
A sophisticated ventilation system ensures a good indoor climate.
Toilet rooms are equipped with automatic hand dryers (saving paper for the sake of the environment), soap and toilet paper are a service for us, and fragrance machines are a nice touch.
We also have a disabled-accessible sanitary area.
Of course, we have also thought of our little campers! The Asterix area is our child-friendly sanitary area with kindergarten toilets and washbasins at a child-friendly height, a separate baby changing room and a baby bathtub. Safety is guaranteed by access control.
Bathing shoes are compulsory in the washrooms and shower rooms.
The laundry and dishwashing room & camper kitchen is equipped with washing and drying machines, a clothes rack, an ironing station, a shoe dryer and two large sinks. A laundry sink completes the offer. A refrigerator and ice chest are also available to you, as well as a microwave and small oven, as well as a 2-burner induction stove and a kettle, coffee machine and toaster. Pots, plates and cutlery as well as cups round everything off.
There is a separate room for hygienic disposal of wastewater generated during camping.
Sanitary area number 2
On our campsite area for tourist campers numbers 40-54, 6 beautiful pitches have been created (water and wastewater on site from April to October). There are also innovative wine barrels with waterless urinals, additional toilets and a dishwashing room.
A very spacious shower made of quarry stone completes the natural and very successful offer. Two washing areas are integrated outside, which are not only pleasing to the eye, but also give you an unforgettable feeling of camping. Wash in the great outdoors and still don't miss out on any amenities.
Sanitary area number 3
At our mobile home port "Camp Hammer Wuff" 61-87 we have created 2 sanitary barrels for you. These barrels consist of a shower, a toilet and a sink.
Compost toilets complement the offer in sanitary areas 2 + 3
Why? What for? What for?
In Germany, we pour between 30 and 100 liters of precious drinking water down the toilet every day - to visually dispose of our, actually valuable, legacy. It is not gone, but ends up via the sewer sooner or later, hopefully in a sewage treatment plant, where it is "converted" with bacteria, energy and chemicals - what is left at the very end is a mass that has been reduced in volume and ends up on the field or in the waste incineration plant...
In other regions it ends up in a stream, river or lake and ultimately in the sea! But there is an easier and more environmentally friendly way!
Toilets without water consumption are environmentally friendly, economical and hygienic!
And that's where the composting toilet comes into play again!
Of course, everything here is also secured by access controls.
